Berlin: area by area – Tiergarten – Potsdamer Platz - Daimler Chrysler Quartier






At the mouth of Alte PotsdamerStrasse next to Kulturforum you find the Quartier DaimlerChrysler and the Hyatt Hotel designed by Rafael Moneo, with cinemas, gambling casino, a musical theater and the debis House designed by Renzo Piano, an office block designed by Arata Isozaki and a shopping mall by Renzo Piano.

Around the DaimlerChrysler Center you see sculptures by famous artists: "Riding Bikes" by Robert Rauschenberg, and "Balloon Flower” by Jeff Koons, "Meta Maxi" by Jean Tinguely, "Galileo" by Marc di Suevo, "Light Blue" by Francois Morellets, "Nam Sat" by Nam June Park, "Boxer" by Keith Haring.


The park colonnades designed by Giorgio Grassi cover the entrance of the underground and S-train station Potsdamer Platz.
