Pavillon Lambeaux-Horta : Les Passions humaines

First building by Victor Horta, realized in 1889 to protect the impressive relief named "Human passions", sculpted by Jef Lambeau. Unfortunately, it caused a fuss and was forced to close only 3 days after the opening.
Today the only way to watch them is thru a small hole on the door or once a day in a guided visit.
It is thus named after the marble sculpture, which it houses, and depicts the theme of happiness and the sins of humanity, dominated by death.
