Berlin: area by area – Tiergarten – Potsdamer Platz - Weinhaus Huth




The only historic building on Postdamer Platz to scape destruction in WWII was the grey limestone building of Weinhaus Huth.
Originally a restaurant and wine shop it was one of the first building in Berlin to be ercted with steel frame.

It was designed by architects Conrad Heidenreich and Paul Michel in 1912.
